Award-Winning Writer and King Professional Communications Founder/CEO Dr. YaShekia King: Providing Tailor-Made Communication Services All in One Place
I, Dr. YaShekia Q. King, earned my Doctor of Christian Entrepreneurship from Christian Leadership University on December 5, 2021. I also earned my Master of Human Resource Management from DeVry University and my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Telecommunications from Ball State University.
Since King Professional Communications' launch in 2012, I have delivered high-level content marketing, editing, and resume writing services for thousands of clients all over the world. Prior to launching my business, I excelled as a journalist with multiple publications, including the Ball State Daily News (where I won multiple writing awards), the South Bend Tribune, and Angie’s List Magazine. During the past several years, I have also earned multiple professional certifications/licenses, including a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) designation with the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches, a Real Estate Broker License in the State of Georgia, and Certified Dental Assistant certification with the Dental Assisting National Board. I am also passionate about community service, so in my spare time, I serve as a teaching volunteer with KidPak Ministries at Free Chapel.
I am strongly passionate about three things—the written word, oral language, and people—so making other people’s lives easier by making the power of the written word work for them is truly the highlight of my day. In addition, I will always hold all of my writers/editors to the same high standard that I hold for myself. In every project I handle for you, I will always strive to help you to present the best version of yourself using the power of the written word. I promise.
